8th March 1942 Following a serious of raids in previous days it was decided all submarines should be submerged in harbour & manned with skeleton crews. P35 dived but settled on a concrete anchor block which breached the hull. On March 11th she was brought to the surface & towed to shallow water. Repairs took 10 days to complete.
