Malta Dog
| An ailment caught by just about everyone on Malta
during the siege & affectionately called 'Malta Dog'. This would incapacitate
an unfortunate victim & send him/her to their sick bed. The cure seemed to be a chalk & Opium mix swilled down with Port & Brandy. At least that is what the RAF lads used. |
