| Arrived Malta mid-May
1940. Took part in the Battle of Calabria, July 1940. Left Malta for Gibraltar 22nd August 1940. On the 23rd she hit a mine off Cape Bon in the Straits of Sicily which broke her back. The explosion killed 5 men & wounded 3 others. She was sunk by 2 torpedos from her sister ship HMS Hero. |
